IEC 60617 — the international standard
The IEC 60617 standard defines the graphical symbols used in electrical diagrams. It is internationally recognized and replaces the former IEC 617. In Europe, it is the reference for electrical engineering offices, installers and manufacturers.
The IEC 60617 standard is divided into several parts covering: passive elements, semiconductor components, electromechanical actuators, measuring instruments, signalling, telecommunications, power distribution, etc.

Each ElectroBlocs symbol is an AutoCAD dynamic block, which means its parameters (component size, orientation, visual variant) can be modified without having to re-insert a new block. For example, a circuit breaker can be configured 1P, 2P, 3P or 4P via its dynamic property, and a contact can switch NO/NC with a single click.
