1. Data collected

When you sign up, we collect: last name, first name, email address, company name (optional). When a licence is activated, we collect an anonymised hardware identifier (HWID) of your AutoCAD workstation.

2. Use of data

Your data is used exclusively for:

• Managing your account and licenses
• Authentication and service security
• Sending service-related communications (updates, support)
• Improving our products through anonymized telemetry data

3. Cookies

We use a limited number of cookies and measurement services, detailed in our cookie policy :

• Essential cookies : JWT authentication token and preferences (consent, theme), required for the service to function.
• Audience measurement (with consent) : Plausible Analytics, audience statistics without third-party cookies or cross-site tracking, activated only after your explicit consent.
• Payment : Stripe, on payment pages only, for secure transaction processing.

No advertising cookies are used.

4. Data sharing

Your personal data is never sold or shared with third parties, except:

• Stripe : for secure payment processing
• Plausible Analytics : anonymous audience measurement, without third-party cookies, only with consent
• Legal obligation : if required by law

5. Security

Passwords are hashed (bcrypt). Communications are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Licence tokens are protected by modern cryptographic signatures (Ed25519 elliptic curves). Local licence data is encrypted via DPAPI.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the FADP (Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection) and the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. Contact us at info@electrocad.ch.

7. Data retention

Your data is kept for the lifetime of your account. After your account is deleted, the data is erased within 30 days, unless a legal retention obligation applies.
