EC_LIGNES — Drawing electrical lines and connections
The EC_LIGNES command draws the distribution lines of a diagram — multi-conductor bus bars, phases L1/L2/L3/N/PE — on the right layer and with the right linetype. It chains the drawing and the insertion of standardized symbols in a few clicks.
Draw a line on the correct layer
EC_LIGNES draws electrical connections on the appropriate trade layer, with the expected line type, without having to configure it manually for each run. Multi-conductor bus bars (for example a 5-conductor TN-S single-line diagram) can be chained with recall via Enter/Tab.
Chain protection, cable and destination
On a panel schematic, EC_LIGNES chains in a single action the circuit breaker, the cable (cross-section and type) and the destination (room name), aligned on the busbar. You go through the list of outgoing circuits and enter or select the rating, the curve and the cross-section; standardized IEC 60617 symbols are inserted with their metadata.
The command suggests rating/cross-section pairs consistent with the NIBT and flags lengths that warrant a voltage drop calculation.
Use cases
- Schematic header — utility service entrance, metering, main circuit breaker, surge arrester
- Panel outgoing circuits — circuit breaker + cable + destination, in series, per room
- Busbars — multi-conductor distribution of a single-line diagram
